  Dr. Richard Bond Richard A. Bond D.O., F.A.A.F.M.
Family Medicine

Dr. Richard a. Bond received his Doctor of Osteopathy from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in June, 1982. He completed his residency in family medicine at Western Medical Center in 1985. He also holds a Doctor of Public Health in Preventive Care and a Master's in Public Health from Loma Linda University and has additional training in geriatric medicine. He is a past president of the Orange county chapter of the California Academy of Family Physicians and of the Orange County Osteopathic Medical Association. Dr. Bond serves also on a number of local and state medical committees.

A licensed physician and surgeon in osteopathic medicine, Dr. Bond's qualifications include special training in the musculoskeletal system, enabling him to provide manipulations for patients with stress or injury related problems. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

"I see myself as a guide to helping patients take better care of themselves. It's tremendously rewarding to develop a trusting relationship with a patient and watch them improve over time."

 
       
  Dr. Kavita Desai Kavita Desai, M.D., F.A.A.F.M
Family Medicine

Dr. Kavita Desai received her medical degree from the University of Manitoba, Canada, in 1990, where she served an internship in 1991. She earned numerous medical scholarships in Canada before completing her residency in family practice in 1994 at the University of California at Irvine Medical Center.

A family medicine specialist, Dr. Desai has a special interest in preventive medicine and the health needs of women and children. She has been practicing medicine in Southern California since 1992.

"As a family medicine doctor, I get a chance to know my patients not just as individuals but as part of a family. By encouraging patients to follow a healthy lifestyle, I can contribute to the overall well being of their family."

 
       
  Dr. Antony Ferrey Antonio Ferrey M.D., F.A.A.F.M.
Family Medicine

A graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles, Dr. Ferrey received his medical degree at the University of Utah College of Medicine where he was named outstanding senior. He was named Chief Resident and received the Golden Gavel Award for Intern of the Year during his residency in family practice at the University of California at Irvine. Dr. Ferrey currently serves as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Family Medicine at UCI.

Dr. Ferrey enjoys working with families, particularly helping children grow and mature through adolescence into healthy adulthood. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Ferrey volunteers at the Lestonnac free medical clinic and serves on that organization's Board of Directors. Dr. Ferrey has also served as President of the Orange County chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians and as a member of the organization's Board of Directors.

"I'm committed to doing what's best for my patients. It's gratifying when my patients confide in me not has a physician, but as a friend. That opens the door so we can work together to discover the underlying causes of the patient's medical problem.

 
       
  Dr. Catherine Garcia Catherine M. Garcia, M.D., F.A.A.F.M.
Family Medicine

Dr. Garcia grew up in Southern California and graduated from the University of California at Irvine, with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. She received her medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle where she was awarded several scholarships. She returned to California to complete her residency training in family medicine at Santa Monica/UCLA in 1993.

Dr. Garcia is board certified and speaks both English and Spanish. 

"I enjoy being a family practice physician because I can educate my patients on a healthy lifestyle. Family practice is a specialty in itself. Many patients are unaware of the important role a family practice physician can take in being their advocate.”

 
       
  Dr. David Kritz David Kritz, MD
Family Medicine

Dr. Kritz is board-certified in family medicine. Following his undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, he received his medical training at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, in Mexico, and at Rush Medical College, in Chicago. He completed his internship and residency at UC Irvine Medical Center. Dr. Kritz also speaks medical Spanish.

Family physician David Kritz, M.D., believes it is never too late to start taking better care of one's health. But he knows change may be difficult at first. That's why he partners with his patients in order to help them follow healthier lifestyles. In addition to managing chronic conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes and cholesterol, Dr. Kritz provides treatment to help patients lose weight and stop smoking.

"Weight loss and smoking cessation are challenging, but they have such an impact on the patient's overall health," Dr. Kritz says. "I take a lot of time to listen to my patient, hear their stories, and then find the best way to approach their problems."
